Justin Bronson Barringer

Sample ImageJustin Barringer is married to Rachel, an indescribably fantastic lady who is currently growing him a human being. Justin recently completed the last class for his Masters of Divinty at Asbury Theological Seminary, with a concentration in ethics and church in society, where he also worked for the Office of Global Community Formation. He graduated from Lipscomb University, where he studied communication, bible and theology. Eventually he hopes to earn a PhD so he has an excuse to wear a sweater vest.

Justin has traveled to nearly 30 countries, and lived as a missionary in China and Greece. He has also worked for local churches in the United States as a preacher, teacher, youth minister, and in homeless ministry. He has served at mercy and justice organizations like The Dream Center and Sojourners.

Along with A Faith Not Worth Fighting For Justin is working on other writing projects like his forthcoming book No More Excuses: 101 Ways to Love and Serve Others. He infrequently blogs at Rogue Minister. Along with writing, Justin speaks about a variety of theological and ethical topics. He is Director of Theology and Community Formation for Love Boldly, an organization working to create safe spaces to discuss faith and sexual orientation.

Justin and Rachel have a dream, along with some friends, to start (or join) a sort of New Monastic community in Nashville someday. It will be a place where they can live in community, invite in people who often get left out, and share God with each other and the world through their communal life. Until then Justin just hopes to share the story about the GodMan who changed everything.
